The Loot:

1st Prize $150, 2nd Prize $75, 3rd Prize $50, and three Honorable Mention winners.

All winning story writers will receive our Portuguese Cuties series of five Paper Ghosts photo postcards and a 5″ x 7″ archival photo print of their choice from the Paper Ghosts Gallery.

 

The Rules:

Everyone is welcome to submit a story.

Choose any photo from our Gallery and use it as inspiration for your story. We add photos every week so keep an eye out! Give your story any title you choose.

English and Portuguese short stories and nonfiction submissions accepted.

Suggested length: 1,000-2,000 words.

Send us your story attached as a Word doc with PHOTO STORY CONTEST in the email subject line to info@mypaperghosts.com.

In the body of the email include your name, city & country where you currently live, and title of the photo you chose. Include your mailing address if you would like us to send you a message tied to the shell of a snail.
